Data protection declaration for CYCLING FOR CHILDREN 2020

If you participate in an event organised by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we use the personal data we receive when you register in order to carry out the event and for other purposes.

If UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein works with external partners to implement the event, only the data required to that aim are forwarded to external partners, based on confidentiality agreements closed with those external partners. Such confidentiality agreements include regulations prohibiting external partners from using the data for their own purposes and forwarding them. External partners are required to delete all such data no later than 30 days after the end of the event.

Photographs and video recording

During the CYCLING FOR CHILDREN 2020 event, UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein will engage photographers to film and photograph the event to produce material provided to various media for their reports. UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein also uses the material for its own media work.

After the end of the event, the photos will be presented to the general public on the website www.give-it-all.ch, which is hosted by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein. If you do not wish to be seen on a photo on which you are clearly recognisable, you can send an email to: data_protection@unicef.ch, requesting to have the photo deleted.

Naturally, the engaged photographers are required to observe the strict UNICEF Photography Guidelines while photographing people, especially children.

Your agreement to the above stipulations also applies to people included in your registration.
