It’s very easy to raise funds. Register as a CYCLING FOR CHILDREN participant and invite friends – ideally online on your personal donations page. You can find more information here. Is there another way of donating apart from using my personal online donations page? The donations platform is part of the CYCLING FOR CHILDREN idea. But if you have friends or relatives who can’t donate online, they can give you donations in cash and you can transfer the total amount on your personal donations page. What happens if I don't reach my donation goal? Can I change it later on? Whether you reach your donation goal or not doesn’t affect your participation. As soon as you have collected donations amounting CHF 100 or more, your participation is confirmed. Amounts that lift you above your donation goal will still contribute towards your profile progress and show up on your donation page. You can adjust your donation goal anytime on your donation page by clicking «edit page». What happens to the donations on my page if I am unable to participate in the event? The donations will not be affected by your participation/absence. Am I allowed to open a donation page even though I know I won’t be cycling at the event? We are delighted by anyone who decides to open a donation page, even if you can’t participate. Will my donation page be shared automatically on social media? No, the active distribution within your networks is entirely up to you. You decide whom you want to share your page and your blogs with and how you’d like to raise funds within your community. However, you and your blogs can be found by search engines like Google. I’d like to remain anonymous, but participate in CYCLING FOR CHILDREN – how? For participants who’d prefer to remain anonymous we created a fast-track-solution: Donate any amount from CHF 100 (or more) to receive starter kit like any other participant. How do I proceed if one of my donors doesn’t want to be contacted by UNICEF in the future? We’re happy to assist you or your donor personally with this. Please contact us through the details below.
